What we do with your data.
When you fill in a form
Our contact and private hire forms are handled by Netlify Forms. What you type — your name, email address, and whatever else that form asks for — is stored in our Netlify account and emailed to us so we can reply. We use it to answer you and to arrange whatever you asked about, and nothing else. We don't sell it and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Analytics cookies
If you accept, we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they came from. It tells us whether the website is doing its job. It sets cookies in your browser and sends data to Google. If you decline, those cookies are never set and nothing is sent. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookies link at the bottom of any page.
Other services we use
Booking a table opens OpenTable, and buying a gift voucher opens GiftUp — both are separate companies with their own privacy policies, and anything you enter there is held by them. Our maps come from Google Maps, but only load when you choose to view one — until you press "Show the map", nothing is sent to Google. The site is hosted by Netlify, which sees your IP address as part of delivering the page. Our fonts are served from our own website, not from Google.
How long we keep things
We keep form enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for our own records afterwards. If you'd like us to delete yours, just ask.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Get in touch and we'll sort it out. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
